Disclaimer of Liability

Knights of the Blue Collar™ is a referral and matching service. We connect customers with independent contractors who perform the work. We are not the contractor’s employer, agent, partner, or representative, and we do not direct or supervise the work.

Each contractor is an independent third party and is solely responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and completion of any work they perform. The contractor — not Knights of the Blue Collar — carries the liability for that work, including any property damage, injury, or failure to complete the agreed scope.

We make no warranties, express or implied, about any work performed by a contractor referred through the Site. We do not guarantee that a contractor is licensed, insured, available, or suitable for your specific job. You are responsible for verifying a contractor’s qualifications and for agreeing on scope, price, and terms directly with them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knights of the Blue Collar is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of work performed by a contractor, or out of your use of the Site. Our liability, if any, is limited to the maximum permitted under applicable law. This limitation survives termination of these terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knights of the Blue Collar from any claims or damages arising from your interactions with a contractor, except where prohibited by law.

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
