Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us. When you submit a service request, we typically collect your name, email, the service you’re interested in, and your message. When you apply to become a Knight, we collect your name, email, phone, trade, experience, availability, and any message you include.
We also collect basic technical information needed to operate the Site, such as authentication session data when you sign in.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your request, coordinate work, review applications, send related communications, and operate and improve the Site. We do not use your information to train machine-learning models.
What we share
We share the contact details you provide with the contractor matched to your request, so they can reach you and perform the work. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention & deletion
We retain submissions while they remain useful for servicing your request or reviewing an application. To request deletion of your information, email contact@knightsofthebluecollar.com and we will remove it from our active records where practicable.
Security
Submissions are stored in our managed backend database. Access is restricted to authorized administrators using role-based access controls and row-level security policies enforced at the database layer. We do not store payment information, since payments are handled directly between customers and contractors.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct inaccurate information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@knightsofthebluecollar.com.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the Site and keep you signed in where applicable. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal information. See our Trust & Privacy page for more detail.
Children's privacy
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can remove it.
